It's a Girl!

I am so excited! We are getting a girl! I didn't think there was anyway we were going to get so lucky to get 2 of each but we did. Thadd and Norma came with us to the doctors for the ultrasound. It was fun to tell Thadd that when we saw him in my tummy, he was sucking his thumb! Nate said that baby looked bigger than the other kids when we had their ultrasounds and it's because I am 22 weeks along, where with the others we were not quite 20 weeks. Both Thadd and Norma were disappointed when she said it was a girl. They were both hoping for a brother.

I can not say how happy I am for another little girl. It works out so well for us. Now we can have 2 kids in each room. Plus, when we moved into the house, I gave all my baby boy clothes to a woman in the ward that had 2 little baby boys a year apart. I would have had to get all new boy clothes. Now I can just have all the ones from Norma. Having them born in the same month is going to be awesome too!
I love little baby pictures! This is her leg. This is what Nate saw and said she was bigger than the other kids were. Her legs are so long! And she was going crazy! She has been moving like crazy the last few days anyways. It made it hard for the ultrasound lady to get good pictures. Just when she would get a good picture of her, she would move.

A tiny little foot!
As you can see, she is already the drama queen. Arm on her forehead and arching her back. This picture is a little blurry because she just was moving so much! We are so excited for March to come. Then we will get to meet Kathryn Kristine!

Just for Tucker

Tucker is very proud of him self. He got this building set last year for Christmas and has been in a building mood for awhile now. He has made a lot with this set but this last one he is particularly proud of. Its a tow truck and he wanted to show it off!

(I know, he needs a hair cut REALLY bad. He wanted me to take these pictures this morning and I told him he had to comb his hair first. It's getting cut this week.)

Family Night

Nate decided that we needed a family night last night. He has worked 10 days in a row and it was so nice to go and be us! I had found a coupon for Hee Haws corn maze and we thought it would be perfect! We picked up some dinner, "and Finger Lights from Arctic Circle" and to the corn maze we went! They had so much for the kids to do! We wished we had come earlier. They loved this train ride! Norma was on the end, by herself, so she was whipped around a lot! She loved it. It wasn't as cold as I thought it would be. This poor pig. There was a pen they let the kids go in that had sheep, ducks, chickens, a goat and 5 or 6 baby pigs. Kids were just chasing these pigs. One got caught, Holy Cow Loud! Poor thing. Nearly kicked Norma as it was trying to get away from another little boy. The duck was the best at getting caught. It just quacked but let the kids hold it.

There was a blow up Haunted Forest that was enclosed. With the Finger Lights, the kids had a blast and went through it at least 3 times!

The corn maze was very nice. We let the kids take turns picking which way to go. Untill it got to late and then just Nate and I did so we could get out. :)We picked up some pumpkins that we are hoping to carve before Halloween. When we got home though, one of them had a rotten spot on the bottom. Guess I'll be picking up one more. It was a very much needed family night and I'm glad we got to go and be together for a night.
My cowboy!

Look how big we are this year!

I was a little excited to see that on the pregnancy ticker it says I'm 20 weeks today! Half way there. We will be finding out what we are having next Thursday. We were going to make a family day of it, take all the kids with us, go to lunch and just be together. Well, come to find out, Tucker is having a Halloween party that day and doesn't think he wants to miss it. And knowing Thadd, he'll want to go to school too. He loves school! So it looks like it will be Norma, Nate and I that will go see this new little one that we are adding to our family. We'll let you know next week which we will be adding. A new little pink baby or a new little blue!

Look what we found!

I am just loving having only Norma in the mornings while all the boys go to school! Yesterday we went to Target. I was told it was the only place to find a "B-Band" It is to wear with your regular pants when you are pregnant so that it will hold them up when you can't do them up. I thought I would try this since it was half the cost of a new pair of maternity pants. First off, I LOVE IT! Second, while we were walking though the store we spotted these. Ruby slippers! Norma is going to be Dorthy for Halloween this year with Wall-E as Toto. She was so excited to see them and wore them all day! She would have worn them to bed too if I hadn't spotted her getting under the covers with them still on! I love this girl! We have so much fun just being "the girls" during the day!

End of Soccer

Sorry about the post over load but I have the time and most importantly, the energy to post right now.

Tucker is now done with soccer. Thank goodness! It was getting so cold and it was hard to go with all 3 kids by myself. I know I'm a wimp.

Here are the pictures from soccer. Only 8 of the 11 kids on his team are in the picture.

I do think Tucker is more excited that he got a medal. He wore it to bed.

School Pictures

Davy Crockett

My brother John has been working on a ranch in Wyoming all summer long. He came down to visit for a friends wedding at the end of September, (this is how much I've been slacking in the posting department), and brought Thadd a late birthday gift. John asked Thadd if he wanted it wrapped or just in the bag. Thadd was happy to just have it in the bag, until he pulled it out. It was a Davy Crockett outfit. He looked in the bag and said to John, "What else?" I just started laughing! I told John that to Thadd, he was just seeing a dead animal! My kids have no idea who Davy Crockett or how cool this present is! How sad is that!

It took about an hour, but Thadd finially tried it on. First he had to run around the house and see if it would fit without anyone seeing him. He came back without it on and said it was too big. I know it's not nice to laugh at your kids, but I thought this whole thing was so funny! By the end of the day he hadn't taken it off and was chopping everything with the foam axe. First thing the next morning he put it back on and has loved playing with it. I have to say, I haven't gone to find the movie of Davy Crockett but I think my kids would love it!

Update.

I have been such a slacker in posting lately. I haven't had any pictures to post so I've put it off. Well, I won't put it off. Sorry about not having pictures.

This week has been busy. Thursday was one of Tuckers last soccer games. Glade and Diane were able to come help me with the kids now that Nate is working nights. It was so cold! But Tucker did well as always and Thadd and Norma loved playing with Grandpa and running around with him to stay warm. Glade and Diane leave in a week for the MTC and then on to Mongolia. We are really going to miss them and I am so glad the kids got to spend just a little more time with them.

Friday morning as I was bending down to pick up some garbage off the floor and through out my back. I couldn't move for most of the day. I was stuck in the recline position on the couch for most of the day. I worst was Nate was a work the whole day and couldn't some home to help me. I was suppose to be packing so we could go camping for the weekend. I was so glad that Norma is self-sufficient or it might have been a long day. There was a birthday party at my parents house that night and Diane and her girls had invited Heather and I to a girls night that night also. So much to do and I couldn't move! My brother ended up coming and picking me and the kids up and taking us to my parents and then the girls came and picked me up for games later too. By then I was able to walk but still today, I have a hard time sitting up or getting down.

Saturday we went up Spanish Fork canyon to go camping. It was such a nice day! It wasn't too cold. We camped in the Diamond Fork camp ground. It is an open range and Wall-E loved it! His little-man syndrome was inflated when he stampeded 5 cows through our camp site. The kids loved a trail they found to go on and I got an hour to myself because I couldn't go with them.

Today the kids are out of school and we are just trying to catch up on house stuff I wasn't able to do on Friday. But they have been such good kids. I am such a lucky mom to have the kids I do. They have been wonderful lately and it has been such a pleasure to be a family!
