New Way to Watch TV

Here is the new fought over spot to watch tv.

This would be Norma's version.

Kate can't leave the baby out with anything.  She is tucking them both in here.

I love that the baby has been such a big part of my girls days lately.  Makes me want to have a baby just so that they can play with one.  Not really.  The dolls work fine.  * I really am joking. *

Pinewood Derby 2012

Wow!  I think that is the first time I've put 2012 on anything.  Just a little scary.  Anywho, we had our Pinewood Derby last night.  It has been kind of fun having Nate in Scouts with me.  He was put in charge last night and since I'm the only other leader with a scout shirt I was his second.

The boys did most of their cars buy themselves this year.  Nate helped a bit but these cars are all the boys.  Last week we had all my wolf scouts over and Nate helped some of them cut out their cars and he put lead in most of them too to get them to the right weight.

Some of these cars were pretty cool and you could see what ones the dads had helped with. :0)

Tucker's was "THE #2"

Thad's was "The Dragon"
The boys were good sports.  The very first race another car flew off the track and hit Thad's car off the track.  They re-raced that one.  Then when Tucker's went down for the first time, his wheel came off.  But it was a great night.  I'm glad that it is over and now I get to focus on the Blue and Gold. :0)

Crafting at the Cabin

The cabin is usually full of games, food, sledding and reading for me.  This time, I brought a craft to do for all us ladies.  If you haven't noticed, I have become a Pinterest freak.  I found so many cute craft ideas that I had a hard time thinking of just one or two to bring to the cabin to do.  I brought up stuff to make wreaths.  We had a blast working on them.

The best friends a girl could ask for.

This is Steph's wreath.
This one is mine.
I didn't quite explan very well that we were planning on doing a 4th of July wreath to Tara and she had her's halfway wrapped in white before we could tell her.  So she did this.

I love it.  We had so much fun!  I can not wait to craft with these ladies again and to hang out.  It was so nice just relaxing and having fun all weekend long.  We really get along so well and I hope that we do things like this much more often!

Walkin' in a Winter Wonderland

I love this picture!  The girls are both smiling and the background is beautiful!  LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!

The group going for a walk.  There wasn't much snow and it was warm but it was perfect for a walk.

Tucker got tired on the walk.

Thad did too.

Tucker thinks he is so funny. :0)

Nate loves this one.  The guys waiting on the girls who couldn't quit taking pictures.

What a good big sister!  I couldn't believe that Norma just started pulling Katy.  We had to run to catch up to get these pictures of the two of them.

And what would the cabin trip and playing in the snow be without one of the kids eating snow.

We called this the "King Tut" picture.

Katy loved having the baby in her lap and James loved just looking at her.

Cabin Vaca with the Jared's

I tried to put all the pictures on one post and it was 37 pictures and wouldn't load so I'm just going to have to split up the photos.

We had a great weekend.  I would say it was one of my favorite cabin trips ever!  Jered Taylor and his family and Jared Clanton and his family came with us to the cabin.  It was so much fun!  We love hanging out with the Jared's and the kids all get alone too so it makes it even funner for the adults.

We got up to the cabin late Friday night so we put all the kids in front of the fire to sleep.  Poor Clanton just had surgery on his shoulder and couldn't sleep very well.  We got this picture with his son, Gavin trying to wake him up.

The babies got alone so well!  James and Katy were so stinking cute together.  They were quite the team when it came to making trouble.  Here is some cute ones of them thinking they are big kids with pop to drink.  They weren't open but they sure thought they were cool.

Here the babies got a bath after a day of sledding and going for a walk.  I'll post those pictures on another post.  I was worried about Katy being in the bath with a boy.  She has never done that.  But she just wanted to fill up the cups I had used to wash their hair with.

Gavin was a little sick while we were there so he just laid around.  But he is cute. ;0)

The kids love playing out side.  There wasn't much snow but there was just enough.  They loved just being outside and going out whenever they wanted.  We had kicked them out while we cleaned up the cabin to go.

The DS's were another big hit.  They would all watch one person play and if they got stuck, the game would be passed around til the level was over.  Ava loved taking pictures of the snow.  Norma was ready to go home and little James says it all with a picture.

The cabin was fun and it wears us all out but it is so worth it.

Instead of Chores

And cleaning my babies face as you have seen in some of the last few posts.  But I've had a lot of fun and I'm remembering to take pictures. :0)  So you can see what I've been doing instead of chores here.  Just as a warning, Pinterest is my new obsession. :0)

Coming Home from Church

I'm not so sure about this 11am church.  I'm not so sure about it when I have to go by myself with 4 kids.  Now I have a primary calling and have to go by myself with 4 kids.  Then I have to remember that I'm there by myself with 4 kids and can't wait for someone to get the baby and bring her to me.  Good thing I have Tucker.  I was waiting for parents to come get the 7 three year olds that I am now a teacher of when I remembered I needed to be getting my own child.  It was a very long 3 hours at church and I hope that I can have a better attitude about it next week.  If I prepare myself before hand it will be, right?

But then I came home to this.

Not only had she eaten half of the track that the kids just love playing with but she had gotten to my box of Christmas boxes and bags and gotten herself stuck.  Yeah, you can see, she knew she was in trouble.  Big time.
You can't tell but she has the ribbon handle around her body and under an arm.  I had to cut it off.  Let just say this was not a nice way to come home after the day at church I had just had.
