So Katy let me do her hair today! Okay, not so much as let me as me bribing her with my watch and phone to sit still while I did her hair. Which is much more that Norma will ever let me do to hers. I was so excited to try this. I wanted to see more of her face and not just her hair.
Isn't it cute! She hardly fussed really. She didn't like me putting in the piggys but other than that she was awesome.
She is only crying because I got out the camera and she hates me taking pictures of her. I can't ever get a smile anymore. See that scowl. That's what I get.
At least I finally got one with her looking at me. I can't even get those often any more.
Silly girl, but a very cute girl.

All the Father's in my Life
Happy Father's Day! I wanted to share all the Father's in my life.
My Daddy! I am so grateful to have him as a Father. He is always there for me and my family and I know that he always will.
My Father-in-law, Glade. He is such an amazing man and I will always know that it is because of him that my husband is the way he is. He is so kind and loving and he always makes me feel welcome.
My Husband. I tried finding a picture of him doing something with the kids and I could only find this one from Norma's birthday. He is always doing things with the kids if he is not working to provide for our family.
He is all about making memories as a family because in the end, that is all we'll have. He loves all his kids and he would do anything for them. He is wonderful to me and I know that he is the glue that holds me together.
I am truly blessed to have so many wonderful men in my life and knowing that they love me and my family is the best feeling in the world!

Palisades 11"
So this was our one big camping trip that we had planned for the summer. And my promise for more pictures... shot. Oh well. I have one of the kids in the car on the way down.
It was beautiful weather on Tuesday when we got down there. I have been a little worried about the water and so we didn't bring anything to play in the water with. Once we were there though, I wish that we had. It was so pretty and I didn't even get pictures of the water. We set up camp, got dinner going and went for a walk to find a good fishing spot for the boys. Dinner was wonderful and afterwards the boys went fishing. Thadd was the only one to catch one. He got a bite and the next thing Jered heard was, "Hey, give that back!" What a boy.
The next day was just as beautiful and the kids played all day. I have to mention the ice cream. Stephanie made the best chocolate ice cream! I am not a home-made ice cream fan but this... it was just like a Wendy's frosty. So good! She had made some the night before and it was so good we drove into town just so we could make more.
By dinner, the wind really picked up and we could tell that is was going to rain. It was nothing compared to the last time we were here. You can read about it here and see some other things we did last time here and here since I'm a slacker and didn't take pictures. :0)
The only bad part was that our kids were not as well behaved as we would have liked and I woke up on Thursday with a very sore throat. We are hoping to go camping again some time in July. I'm sad that we don't have a Moon Lake trip planned but we will be going on the deer hunt in August.
Next big thing going on with us is I have scout Day Camp next week and you can bet I'll be taking my camera and hoping to get lots more pictures. :0)
| Enjoying sitting in her own chair and eating some grapes. |

And so it begins
Summer is here and I can tell you right now, it's going to be a long one. We have a lot of things going on this summer and we started off with having Winni here for the week. My Mom and Dad went to Texas for Gerald's graduation from Basic Training. Mom got some pretty cool pictures and put them on facebook if you are friends with her, go check them out. I love having my sister here. Now that she is older and doesn't bug me so much :0) I really enjoy spending time with her. She was a big help with the kids so the Nate and I could go out a few time without them. That was nice. We played a lot of card games with the kids. Norma and Thadd now know how to play Dork and they love it. I do have to say here that those of you that got Mongolian cards from Glade, watch out for the hard cased ones and don't let your children see them. ;0)
Saturday I dropped Win off for her choir tour at 5 in the morning and made it home in time to get everyone ready for Eric's baptism. It was so wonderful! He has grown into such a great boy. I feel like he is one of my own and I am so excited for him and all that he does.
The rest of the weekend was spent getting ready for our first "Big Plans" for the summer. Camping! We can't wait. We had so much fun when we went last time and we get to go with some great friends this week. I have been working for weeks on some duffel bags for the kids just for camping and so I can post without saying sorry for no pictures, here is a picture of the duffel bags I've made.
I didn't make the green one. I got that one free with my Disney Movie Rewards. Next year I'll make Katy one.

This Last Week
It was the last week of school and super busy at our house. We have done a lot and I have pictures!
Monday was Memorial Day and we went to the cemetery with everyone to give flowers to Grandma. I love seeing all the grandkids around wanting to help and make it pretty.
We had a BBQ later with everyone and ended up at the school playing softball and vollyball. I was proud of my boys for getting in there and playing when they have never played in their lives. :0) Thanks to everyone else for helping them out.
Tuesday Tucker had a little play that he did in his drama class where parents were invited to watch. Tucker was amazing! They did a little fairy tale play and Tucker got to the the Big Bad Wolf. He did a voice and everything. He even had a little solo were he got to sing a song by himself. If I had know a little better I would have taken video.
Norma had a dance recital on Thursday. Kathryn was able to come and Norma is such a goof. She enjoyed showing off and loves dance class.
I had to throw in a picture of our dinner the other day too. We have been grilling a lot and Nate is proud that what we have been making the kids have been eating. They called these the "new family favorite". Aren't the beautiful!
Our summer is super busy and I promise to try and take a ton of pictures. We get to do a lot of fun and new things and I can't wait. Welcome Summer!

New Glasses
Tape didn't work. Nate tried to tell me and I told him to try. He ended up finding these on a website and we payed $25, shipping and everything. I think Tucker looks pretty sharp.
