Dimond Fork Camping

We wanted to go camping again and after having a few camping trips ruined because we didn't get a spot before hand, we reserved a spot at Diamond Fork.  We came here the very first time that we went camping in our trailer.  I had just thrown out my back and was about 7 months pregnant with Katy at the time.  We had really enjoyed the spot and the area so we knew that it would be fun to come back.

The kids had fun helping set up the trailer.  I know that we are going to have so many memories from camping and I love that the kids are getting old enough to start helping out a bit more.

It was very hot after we got everything set up so we all piled inside and did our own thing for a bit.
Nate wanted you to see our camp site. :0)

Love that Nate got this picture.  She doesn't like when I try to take a picture of her but she loves her Daddy and will smile for him.  Look at that grin.
She wanted up with me.  I was just reading and she laid up there with me for a bit.
Walle even had a spot that he calls his own.
I was really glad that we had thought to bring the kids scooters with us.  It was something for them to do.  Katy really wanted to do it too.  She is so cute.  She'll climb on and then wait for someone, (Mom or Dad) to push her on the scooter.

There is a Discovery Trail at the camp ground and it was really nice to go walk it in the morning.  They have these fences at the stream so that you can't get to close.  There was a beaver dam at one point and a tipi at another point.  They also had some metal benches here and there in shapes of a bear, a fish, and a spider.  There were "keys"  all along the trail too that had facts about the canyon that the kids liked to look for and find.

This camping trip was all about being together.  The kids rode their scooters a lot.  We played a lot of card games and the kids like trying to catch bugs.  Even Kate didn't want to be left out and had to try too.

It was really nice because on  Sunday the Taylors and my family came up for dinner.  It was warm but it was nice having them come.  We had a wonderful dinner and the peach cobbler was made even better when my Mom and Dad surprised us with bring ice cream to have also.

We love camping and we are looking forward to the deer hunt in a month.  It is so fun having our kids getting older and helping out more, having fun on their own more and being able to play games with us more.  We love our family and are so glad that we can do some fun things together and make it be a wonderful summer.
