We were invited down to our friends house in Fairview for New Years and we were super excited. We took the whole family, dogs included. It was a bit of a drive with all of us but we made it in one piece and only a slight headache.
The kids couldn't wait to just play all night and us adults couldn't wait either. Right before the rest of the crowd showed up I got a text from someone in the neighbor telling me that our front door was wide opened and did I want her to stop and shut it for me. YES PLEASE! We had been gone all day and I asked if she would stick her head in and make sure the t.v. was still there. That is what happens when Mom and Dad are not the last ones out the door.
The dogs were going to enjoy chasing all the ducks, chickens and other dog once we got there. Walle really liked the roosters. He thought he was tough and I wish we had gotten a picture of him after he got the rooster. He was up on his high horse, mouth all full of feathers.
The party started with some "stash" fun.
Long story, don't ask. Just laugh and enjoy the pictures.
We ate, played and laughed all night long. Steph finally got Katy to sleep about 11pm. The rest of the kids made it to midnight and couldn't understand why it was such a big deal.
Bed time did not go smoothly and lets just say that 2-3 hours of sleep was all that was achieved that night.
We did have a blast hanging out with friends and can't wait to go to the cabin with these guys in two weeks and play all weekend instead of just one night.
