There happen to be a plot of dirt that was good enough for us to plant in so we wouldn't have to bring in any dirt for our garden this year. We were so sad that we weren't going to be able to plant one. We got all our plants and stuff while in Utah County this last weekend and made a family night out of it with the neighbors to plant it. Nate worked so hard on the fence, you can move the front part out of the way so we can get to the garden to weed it. We knew we would need something to keep the bunnies, dogs and kids out. :0)
*Update. Yes, it died. Everything we planted died with the hard freeze that came through the week after planting. We'll learn to never plant early again. *

Way to plant a garden! I am so sad that it didn't live! Try again...maybe it will take next time. I never plant anything but peas before Mother's Day and this year I am waiting even longer to plant my cucumbers. They always die!
What a great activity! And, how disappointing to have lost it all!
Good job on the garden. Sorry it didn't make it but try again. There's a lot of learning in gardening.
