So yesterday we had Angela and Larry over for dinner and games. As we were sitting there in the middle of a game there was this very loud explosion! It sounded like a rifle had just gone off in the kitchen! We are looking to see where it came from when the dishwasher started smoking. We opened it to find this...
The heating element blew up! The dishwasher must have been bumped on because there wasn't many dishes in there and we always have to turn the 'Heat Dry' off or it melts the kids glasses.
We have only been in the house a year and we have already had to have the microwave fixed and now the dishwasher has blown! Of course the warranty on the dishwasher wasn't good any more so now we have this...

Camping with the Taylors
First I'd like to let every one know that my dad is home and doing fine. Just going to be sore. Thank you for your concern. Now on to camping. :)
We have wanted to do a lot of camping this summer because Nate's work schedule works really well for that. This is the first time we've been able to make it out. We went up Spanish Fork Canyon to Diamond Fork with the Taylors. Jered works with Nate and him and his family are wonderful! I've really enjoyed getting to know Stephanie and their kids, Maddie and Eli.
The first thing that Maddie showed us was a lizard her dad had caught. I was so surprised that Tucker would even hold it, I had to take a picture. I think he was more surprised that it climbed up his sleeve and sat on his shoulder! They had a lot of fun with that poor lizard.
Jered has this 4-wheeler that is just for the kids. Has a hand held kill switch and doesn't go very fast. The kids loved it! The hardest part was just waiting for your turn!
We had a wonderful night sleeping the first night. It started raining around one in the morning so we sleep with tarps over our sleeping bags. Not to bad. I forgot to mention that sleeping in the tipi is fun as long as it doesn't rain. It only rained for 45 min so we stayed pretty dry.

The next day was full of baseball, frisbee, hiking and bug catching. We had a blast camping with the Taylors! It was just a nice day being overcast and no breeze. It wasn't to hot or cold and we just really enjoyed our day. But..... we shouldn't have pushed our luck with staying two nights. Right after we got dinner going, around 4:30, it started raining again. Lucky for us, the Taylors have a camper, so in went the kids. By 7 o'clock it still hadn't stopped so we ate dinner and put the kids to bed. We owe the Taylors so much for putting us up in their trailer with them for the night. It didn't stop raining all night long and we would have been Very Wet in the tipi! We will defenitly be going camping with these wonderful people again but next time we will be paying more attention to the weather forecast.

What a week!
I wish I had pictures to post for the week but this is just going to be a long post with only words so if you are not interested, stop reading.
Monday night, Nate was suppose to be home at 2 in the morning. I had called him at 1:30 scared of something silly. (It's always something silly!) He had told me he was on his way home. I stayed up reading and at 3:30 he called to tell me he had gotten a DUI and he wouldn't be home til morning. I passed him at 9:30 on my way to take the kids to the movies. He had to go to court that night too.
Wednesday we went to the Oquirch Temple Open House with my Mom, Dad, sister Winni and my Aunt Kathryn. It wasn't raining when we left but by the time we got up there it was coming down in buckets. It was like we stepped out of the car into a shower. With hail. We were soaked but it made it not very busy for us to walk through the temple. It was so nice to take our time and spend time in the sealing room with just our family. I was able to talk to Tucker about when he was sealed to us and Grandma (Kris) got to hold him on the alter and how much that means to Nate and I.
Thursday we had family pictures done. Thanks LaVon! I can't wait to see them!
Friday was Lagoon in June! The Parry Family Reunion! We were so excited to go this year because there were so many rides that the boys could go on. The first thing Norma did was run through the water fountain right there as you walk in the park. People just laughed when she came up to me and said, "Mom, I'm soakin' wet!" As I was ringing out her pants at the pavilian, my mom called and left me a message. I didn't think much of it. I still don't know what made me listen to the message but the next thing I knew I was listening to my mom tell me my dad had been in a motorcycle accident and things were not good and that they had told her to get to the hospital as fast as she could.
Dad is fine and doing well. An 88 year old lady pulled out in front of him turning left and he just couldn't stop in time to miss her. He has 4 broken ribs and had to have 7 or 8 staples in his head. He wasn't wearing a helment and it is a miracle he isn't hurt more than that. He is pretty banged up. He was in the Trauma ICU over night but is in a regular room wanting to go home. They are keeping him to watch some bleeding in his brain and an air pocket in one of his lungs.
Nate and I ended up leaving the boys with Glade and Diane, (Thank you so much!) and taking Norma with us to the hospital. That was when we were thinking my dad wasn't going to make it. But things were as good as they could be so after spending some time with my mom and making sure my dad had a blessing, we headed back to Lagoon for a short time so Norma could ride some rides. I love Lagoon and was so happy to see Grandma Parry there and looking so well!
I didn't get a single picture all week, so I'll leave this post here. Hopefully I'll have the family pic's to put on here soon. Thank you to everyone for their prayers on my dads behave this week. They have been felt and very much appricated.
