June Happenings

Well we are keeping busy and here is what we do.

- Wash the truck.  Often.  Just to get wet.
- Swimming at the pool
- Geocaching
- Free school lunch.  Awesome!
- Riding bikes
- Jumping on the tramp, late into the night sometimes.
- Walking
- Video Games
- Movies
- Tuesday Game night with the neighbors.
- Homework, (for me)
- Nate delivering another baby on the freeway making his total up to 3.
- Library visits where we might read through the whole library by the end of the summer, it's that tiny.
- Playing at the "dizzy" park.  It has old fashioned merry-go-round and all the toys that Utah has taken out of their parks
- Nate and I going on dates to the post office and Smith's for groceries.

July is looking to be a lot of the same stuff here.  We are staying here for the 4th of July and have a lot of things planned for that day.  Hoping to go on at least one camping trip this summer but not seeing it happening with Nate working as much as he is.  We are just hanging in there, doing what we can to stay busy.

Thad got hit in the back in baseball.  You can barely see it but he has a perfect baseball bruise in the middle of his back.
Nate is finally done coaching.  He can now check off his community involvement.

Katy trying out my earbuds. :0)
Nate and I were able to go to the UHP banquet and the kids got to go to John and Celest's.  They spoiled them and took them to Cherry Hill.  They loved it!  Nate and I loved having our own special breakfast.

Winni and Katy at Cherry Hill

Katy sleeps just like her daddy.  Sprawled out on the bed, arms and legs flung out.
Our ant farm is still going strong.  They have made a ton of tunnels and bury their dead.

I have a late night with Sarah and Karlee to paint toes and nails after our walk one night.  We walk 2 or 4 miles a night and I'm loving it.
Norma made her bed so well the other day and I had to take a picture of it.

Geocaching Pics

This one is at Blue Lake.  It was a beautiful lake, clear water, you could see the fish swimming around in there, Eva loved swimming in it but the big negative, the bugs.  They were so bad that we only stayed outside for 5 minutes and got eaten alive.
We let the dogs come with us and had them both in the back of the truck.  Eva does really well staying in the back but at one point Nate looked back to see a little brown fluff fly out the back of the truck.  We stopped and here came Walle.  We don't know if he jumped or if he bounced out.  Needless to say, he rode the rest of the time at my feet.

Nate has worked hard and with the help of the kids they have made their own geo cache.  You can check it out here.

Our three Highway Patrol Men.  Jimmy flashing the "Camp Gumbo" hand sign.

They have a basketball hoop at the pool and the boys love playing.  We can bring in our own ball for them to play with.

It is nice to lay on the cement to warm up after we get out of the pool.
It was so windy one day that we went that Katy fell asleep in all of these blankets trying to get warm.

Katy likes being the the kiddie part of the pool where she can reach the bottom and "jump".  She is happy to just "jump" all day.
