Question Is...

Can I keep it alive.  I have wanted fresh mint to add to my water and they do not always sell it at our Smith's store so we decided to see if we could grow it ourselves.  Here's hoping it lives.

Father's Day Fishing

We got to go fishing with Papa for Father's Day.  Nate worked so he took the boys home with him and the girls and I stayed to spend the day on the water.

Papa got the first fish. :0)

But then he caught a real fish.  A cat fish.  Norma had never seen one before so she wanted to touch it.

She just wanted to touch the whiskers but I ended up catching on camera an epic "fish slap" instead.

The ducks were a lot of fun to watch and get pictures of.

Katy sure loves her Celest.

Norma caught... a weed.

This little family of ducks were so cute.  So many babies and the momma watching over them close.  Katy and Norma liked being able to feed them and liked throwing pretzels out in the water for them.

I had to take a picture of the sour patch kids that mom said were "married". :0)

Norma really liked the ducks and found this bunch of them.  I had fun taking pictures til one of them went for my shoe laces.

It was a lot of fun and I like finding a little spot of the beaten path for a day of fishing.

Movie or Nap

Long days and a week of nothing but playing, someone fell asleep on the way to go see Cinderella. In just 5 minutes too.

Swollen Feet have their Benefits

I have never been able to borrow Winni's shoes before because her feet are two sizes bigger than mine but after being in Lehi all week and the heat here with no ac my poor feet and ankles are so swollen that I couldn't wear my own shoes so I got to wear Winni's. :0)

Helping out a Friend

I have a dear friend from Eagle Mountain that had her little girl Emily, burned very badly a few months ago.  She is doing much better and is going to be able to come home soon.  They were able to do a fundraiser at Chick-fil-a where a part of what was spent that night would go to help pay for her pump and medical bills.  We helped out.

Tired and Sunburned

I love when I get cuddles but it wasn't until much later that I realized that she was so cuddly because she was very sunburned.  Ouch!

One Hour Baskets

I have had this pattern sitting around since Easter to make this baskets.  I got fabric to make the kids new Easter baskets that could be packed better in the tote of Easter stuff.  So when I got the game room for my cousins bridal shower I knew I wanted to make her one to put cards and things in for her new home.

I, of course, had to make me one too.

Being Left Out

It is so hard to be the ones that are left when Tucker and Norma got to go home with friends so I thought the other kids needed something to make them special too.  Snowcones will do it.

Daddio liked the Pool too

Lagoon in June 2015

What a wonderful day we had yesterday.  It was the annual Lagoon in June for the Parry Family Reunion and I am so glad we were able to go.  We haven't been in so long.  The last time we went my dad got in his accident and Nate and I left the kids there to play.

Tucker was able to go with his school the last week school got out so he was very excited to take us right to Rattlesnake Rapids first because we would be able to go multiple times in a row.  I have never been so wet on a ride in my life.  There was not an inch on me that was dry so we went again.  Katy, Grandpa and Nana were not so keen on getting that wet a second time.

There were some beautiful peacocks all around the park.

We got stuck right next to the warthogs on the train ride and boy did they smell.  The tigers were out and very beautiful as we rode by though.

Nana got talked back into riding this one again later after she had dried out a bit. :0)

This was Katy's favorite ride!  She went on this three times in a row once because she could.  Also, the merry-go-round was a huge hit too.
The girls had fun going off together to do rides and the boys too.  It was so nice to be able to stay back and visit with all the family and let the kids do what they wanted to do.  Katy stayed with Nate and I so we got mostly pictures of her on rides.

This is the only one I had of the boys.

This peacock had been calling out to the other one that was eating the scraps under our tables.  It didn't have any feathers but this one sure did. Katy loved feeding it grapes.

Norma had been looking forward to hanging out with Aubrey and Anna all week and was so happy they included her.  She also happen to take her allowance with her so she bought them all a necklace and these pictures.  This will have to be kept forever.

We were so lucky to be able to go to Lagoon this year.  Being able to scrape up the money to go was hard but we are so glad we did.  The kids are already looking forward to next year at Lagoon.

Living at the Pool

We plan on living at the pool this year.  Nate has a nifty water-proof phone case because he can't be far from his phone with his job and has been able to get some really cool photos.

I like playing around with my editing app on my phone. :0)

We got this football while in Colorado because Thad wasn't able to get his ear wet because his eardrum burst the night before vacation.  It has been the funniest thing to have and he even got me to play catch or splash with him the other day.  Silly boy but I sure love him.
