Trying to catch up

So I haven't blogged in a long time.  *Slap my hand*  School is just sucking me in, not only with time but with pictures I take too.  But we have been busy so here is May in a nutshell.

Baseball has taken over our lives.  With Nate as the coach it makes for busy weeks.  It is hard because Nate is doing it all on him own.  All the other teams have 2 or 3 coaches and here is Nate, trying to get 12 boys to listen to him.  He is doing great though!

Norma and Katy really don't like being at the games but they found some friends to play in the dirt with.  I have to tell them to leave the sunflower seeds alone because they have been in someone else's mouth.

The girls do like cheering for their brothers when they are up to bat.  "Go Tucker!"  "Go Thad!"

We have replanted our garden and it is so wonderful to see it growing!  I love watering it everyday after my walk and I really can't wait to start weeding it.  There are no weeds yet.  Hopefully it will stay that way.

I have to say that I love living by other UHP guys.  Nate had a range day and they all came home and set up a table in the dog run to be out of the sun and cleaned all their guns.  I had to be sneaky so they wouldn't see me taking a picture of them. :0)
For Christmas, Nana and Papa gave us an Ant Farm.  When we tried to order the ants we were told that they could only ship the ants in certain  temperatures.  Well, we finally got them and Nate has been more excited about them then the kids!

I did it.  I finally cut Katy's hair.  It was down to her waist and would just get so tangled to fast.

Katy is growing up so fast.  She is now into the "What's this?" question phase.  "No" is a common word out of her mouth.  She still sucks her thumb and I'm not sure how I'm going to go about making that stop.  She rides her little bike so well and loves going on walks with me, as long as she gets to go in the stroller.  She has moved up a clothes size and shoe size too.  She loves playing make believe with everything, soda bottles, old papers, the dogs, books; she will just talk to herself while I do homework and it is so cute to listen to.

What a fun time to watch Katy growing up in this stage! I'm so glad, that even though you have school, you're able to be home and watch it happen.

I love you, you're awesome husband, and children!

I understand the baseball thing...It's also taken over our lives. Steve is the head coach and he has three other dads helping. I can't imagine doing it all on his own! Poor Nathan! Katy looks so old. She has grown up so much!
