Our Family has grown...

By four feet.

This is puppy Eva.  Jered and Stephanie brought her to us on Sunday for Thadd's birthday.  He turned 8 yesterday.  I'm hoping to blog just about him and the day he was born on Thursday.  I have a lot of picture I need to scan in for that though.  So we'll just talk about Sunday.

So we had decided that we would take one of the puppies and that she would be mostly for Thadd for his birthday.  He was very excited and couldn't wait for them to come.

All the kids are piled on Jered while the girls were making the pizza.  Even Kate went to him.

While we were eating the puppy fell asleep on Jered's shoe and Thadd wanted to watch her sleep.  Isn't this picture just precious!

We decided to give Thadd his gift early since Nate would be working all day on Monday and we would be at Nana and Papa's for a BBQ later in the day.  He was so happy to get his scout book and belt.  He can't wait for scouts to start and he gets to come with me.  I happen to be his scout leader.

He was more excited about getting some new Transformers.  He is still very much into these toys and we are going to take him to see the movie this weekend.

He ended up getting more at Nana and Papa's on his birthday and had to tell everyone that it was his birthday.  Even the lady at the check out counter at the store.  He is so happy to be 8 and can't wait to be "bath-tized" in a few weeks.
